GENERAL INFO AND CARE IN KEEPING YOUR HIMALAYAN

NEW HOME FOR YOUR HIMMMYCATS HIMALAYAN

First Days Home: Feel free to ask questions anytime. Sometimes our babies are taken into a new home, they develop sneezing and watery eyes. This should only last a few days and I think it's a combination of stress from the flight (if any) and new pollens, etc.

It's a Big World Out There: We suggest that for the first day or two you keep your baby Himmy in one room, perhaps your bedroom, but visit him/her often. That gives your baby Himmy time to adjust to the new smells and sounds. It's a big job for a little a baby Himmy to do all that sniffing, especially around a whole house. Then about the second day, leave the door open and when your baby Himmy feels secure, he/she will venture out and begin their "whole house" sniffing. No-one though can ever tell as there's no way to predict adjustment.

Make sure your baby Himmy is eating, drinking and eliminating after a day or so.

Please know we will be available to answer questions for months and years to come. We will always love these baby Himmies and we will always care about their welfare. AND WE LOVE HEARING ABOUT THEM.
